Private tutor in McAllen, TX
Education
I attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned a degree in Chemistry.
Experience
Any previous tutoring experience: I've tutored a family friend in chemistry while she was in a nursing program. Although my formal experience ends there, I lead study groups while attending college. Why you want to be a tutor: I want to be a tutor because during this time I feel like there is a real need for them. I want to be able to, also, offer my love of chemistry and show how this dreaded subject can be something interesting and cool. Relevant classes you've taken: The upper division courses I took in college were Macromolecular Chemistry, Bio-Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Lab techniques. In order, the chemistry of polymers, metals in organic systems and how they are studied ( proteins enzymes, etc...) and advanced techniques utilized in organic labs. Other impressive items from your resume: I was a research assistant while my short time at UTSA and worked at ExxonMobil for 4yrs. While I was there, I worked in different parts of R&D and learned a lot about polymers and how they are utilized.

I'm a person that likes to learn about different things. For example, I've been taking Russian for about 2yrs now and utilize a tutor to practice speaking haha I'm also trying to learn how to code in Python and how it can be used for data analysis. I also like to ride my motorcycle and get outside and exercise when I can. I also like to play video games, read, and play a game of chess from time to time.
